Time Out for Women (TOFW) and Time Out for Girls (TOFG) are live, inspirational weekend events for women and girls to gather and celebrate with other women of faith so they can step back into life inspired, focused, and renewed. As part of the Events Division at Deseret Book, TOFW and TOFG create 20+ events each year in cities across the United States and international events in Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Our responsibilities included:
* Daily and weekly content creation across all social media platforms – Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest
* Social media strategy and scheduling for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest
* Content creation and execution of social media ad buys and social media contests on Facebook and Instagram
* Project management for annual website update of TOFW.com
* Content creation and posting of content on TOFW.com
* Analytics and tracking of social media channels and ticket sales
As a result of our efforts, the social media platforms grew across the board – notably, a 20% increase in Facebook followers and a 92% increase for Instagram followers in 2016.
The Deseret Book Events Division had the biggest ever attendance year for TOFW/TOFG in 2016 (47,000 women and girls) and the Events Division was awarded the annual Marvin J. Ashton Award for Excellence by Deseret Book.
